Cardinal Bridge

Well I couldn't sleep when I got home last evening and I really wanted to paint something. I'd been listening to some Ambient Music on Itunes Radio and I found this station called Birdsong. I instantly wanted to do a landscape of some sorts and really wanted to paint trees and water because I want to practice reflections and leaves. Needless to say this piece took on a life of it's own. I added the yellow flowers because I'd recently met someone who works with the yellow flower Brassica napus which is used to make Canola Oil. Boy was it a good choice for some added color. ;)

Piccolo Jr. Zbrush Sculpt

20+Hours of ZBrush right here. I've been learning a ton about this program and I am really loving it. It's so cool to see these visions realized in 3D glory. My favorite part was painting it, loved adding the veins and mottling the skin. I really owe a thank you to Scott Spencer for sharing his knowledge with me. Thanks Scott where ever you are.

3D Head Spymaster pt.1

Working on a game is tough business. Especially when there is only two of you. I am in charge of the art. (a monumental undertaking). Though I have made recent leaps and strides, this is still far from being completed. This head was created so that I could have something original to be reused for any human male that I would have to create. Then I would use ZBrush to sculpt the details and change the features as needed. So far this is what I have of the Spy character for "Darkest of Places".

More to Come as this is an ongoing Project.

First post of 2010...woah...

Been doing a bunch of uncool art (in my own opinion) and haven't want to post. The reality of graduation is setting in as well and that's somehow subconsciously effected my art. Anyway, here's some sketches I've done for school, I had to sketch Spider-Man because I am animating a pair of Bi-Ped's in 3D studio max for my Animation class. Here are the sketches of the characters and some stills from the 3D that I have so far.
